Manifestation with Action

We have been talking about the use of manifestation to bring things you desire into your life. Remember the steps, you have a thought, then take an action and then bring that desire into your reality. One of the main steps of the steps of manifesting is action, but what exactly is this action?

Action it is the process of doing something in order to achieve a purpose, the way in which something functions, or the effect it produces. We must take action; do something that gets things moving. So what is it that we must do?

The simplest yet the hardest is; to write it down… The act of writing it down creates what you desire and causes the forces of the universe to begin to move in the direction necessary for your desire to become reality. You begin to create what you desire by writing it down.

Write it until it is right. You may have to write it a few times to get the wording correct. I must give you a horrific warning here: Be very careful what you ask for as you will get it.

Many people will not take this essential action. Why? Because they say it is too silly, “or I will do it later”, or some reason that makes sense to them. Regardless of the reason, they are wrong. Without this first and powerful step nothing will change. Nothing done is nothing earned! Earned means to acquire something as a reward for, or as a result of your actions or behavior. Do nothing and that is what happens.

So go get yourself a piece of paper and write out your desire. Put it somewhere where it can be seen by you all the time. If you do not put it out in the open it will not come into reality any time soon. Post your desire where it can be seen, in plain sight, out in the open. There it will be seen and will become a reality faster than you may think.

Some of you may scoff and say this is bull hooey, so I offer you a piece of evidence. I know this woman who gets quite a lot done just by writing it down. One example: She gets her yard mowed with no other action than just writing it down. She takes no actual or physical action, she simple writes it down and it happens.

This person is my wife. She writes “Mow the lawn” on the honey do list, and pins it to the fridge. Then I bumble along and see this note and go get out the mower and cut the grass.

Did this woman care how or when it happened? No, the simple act of writing it down caused her desire to come into reality.

So write it down, post it where you can see it and it can be seen. Do not worry about how or when; simply trust that it will come to pass. Then it will soon come into your reality, and you can begin the “live happily ever after” part of your life.

Be Blessed

Wisdom of Manifesting

There is still a lot of talk and buzz about this new manifesting concept. The new gurus tell you that it is the Law of Attraction that causes you to have what you have. This is true but, there is a bit more to it than what you think.

One of the keys that they leave out is a very important key; taking action.

What they don’t tell you, and what you haven't learned, is everything that you have now, is because at some point in the past you decided to get it, and you decided to take action to achieve it.

You may not have realized you were using the Law of Attraction, but you did. You thought of something, took action on it and it came into your reality.

If you decide you want a thing then you have to define what that thing is. You can decide to win the Olympics, but what sport? When you have defined that then you must learn the skills for that sport, and compete. The gold medal will not just fall into your lap while sitting on your couch. Here is the shocker; you will have to earn it.

You can be whoever you desire. You can have whatever you desire. You can do whatever your heart desire that you do. Don't be shy in making a request from the universe. Don't think you can't ask for more if you have so many blessings already. You can be and achieve all that you desire.

So what makes you think that anything you want in the future is going to happen for you any differently? There is an old saying that is a secret key that has been hidden in plain sight, “If you keep doing what you have always done, you will keep getting what you already have”.

Here's the most important key to your success:

Those who take action; succeed.

Those who do not take action; do not succeed.

Once again, the steps are to think of a desire, take an action, and bring your desire to reality. Your desire can be anything; if you can think it, then it can be done.

Don't be afraid to receive what you desire. You have asked for it and it was granted to you, now accept what you have created. Acceptance is being prepared for all the attachments and responsibilities that go with what you asked for.

Lastly, I must give you a serious warning: Be very careful what you ask for; as you will get it. What you get will be what you asked for, but not what you desired. So make sure you know what your desire is before asking for it.

Be Blessed.

A Gift For You

I have been a bit preoccupied this week, so to makeit up to you here is a special gift.

There is a lot of stuff going about on the subject of manifesting and how to manifest. So today I am giving you a gift that will simply blow your mind.

Now, stop reading and go get yourself a piece of paper and a pen. It can be a sticky note, a scrap piece, a piece of printer paper or even college rule loose leaf, it doesn’t matter, just get a piece of paper. No cheating, don’t read the rest of the article, go get it, I will wait right here.

...

Got it? Good. Now on this piece of paper write these words: “I Love Myself.”
It may feel silly to think about it, but just do it; write the words “I Love Myself” on that piece of paper…

Did you do it? Great, now read your own writing, “I Love Myself”. OOOHHH, did you feel that? I bet that felt good. Do it again, read your own writing… “I Love Myself”. That feels good doesn’t it? So write it again next to the first line;
“I Love Myself” and right next to it “I Love Myself” in a single line.

Now again, read your own writing; “I Love Myself, I Love Myself”. Now THAT feels real good, doesn’t it? I bet you are feeling really good right now, but we are not done yet. Under the first two write again; “I Love Myself”, so it looks like this:

“I love Myself, I Love Myself”
I Love Myself

So now pick up the piece of paper and hold it in front of you so it blocks the view of this computer screen and read your own writing. Go on, I will be right here when you are done.

OH, that has to feel soooo good! Now read your own writing out loud, this is the test, do you whisper, yell, or use your indoor voice? Yes it matters; I highly recommend you use your outdoor voice. Now, do it, read your own writing out loud. Come on, don’t feel silly, read your writing out loud.

...

...

Now THAT felt good, so good I bet you read it more than once. That is very good; give yourself a hug from me, which is just excellent.

Now that you are feeling really great let us examine what you just did.

So what did we just do? We manifested… You had an idea, you took action and your idea became a reality.

Enjoy the rest of your day

Be Blessed

Why Should We Use Magick?

I am sorry that this post will seem a bit less than cheerful.

I am normally a very happy person, some call me very Zen like as I am extremely slow to anger and not easily flustered by events. I have also been called cold hearted as I do not react with strong emotions to things the way that other people think I should.

I write today with a heavy heart, not because I am overwhelmed by emotions, but because I see people suffering, and they just don’t get it.

I have tried to teach, coach, instruct, lecture, educate, preach, and train every person I come into contact with; the secret to life the universe and everything. Yet there are people whom I thought were getting it, and they do something that demonstrates they did not listen to a word I said or typed. Then there are those who use the knowledge for stuff it was never intended for and end up in a worse condition than ever before, so they blame me for their error. I could care less as I know the truth, but it still is disconcerting that they did not understand what I was telling them.

I ask myself if my lessons are too mysterious that a person has to be a code breaker to understand. I look at what I write and see that it is about as forward as I can get. I ask if my lessons give more than a person can digest. I see that most are small, less than a thousand words, or less than 15 minutes of speaking. So what is the problem? This is very frustrating to me; it causes me to be unhappy that other people can not seem to understand what I do.

What is so hard to understand the concept of what you ask for you get? What is confusing about magick and its various uses? Let me explain it all in as short and direct method I can. Magick use is very similar to cooking. You have a recipe to follow. There is a recipe for darn near any situation that the human race has devised so far. The recipes are called by some; spells. You follow the directions of a recipe, this is called by those less inhibited; casting a spell. If the word “spell” causes discomfort, then use the word recipe. (The latest craze is calling it “manifesting”)

The power behind these recipes/spells is the universe; some call this by a name, others call it god (goddess, etc.) and events are set into motion because of your actions. These events will come to pass! They will happen when they are ready to, not necessarily when you are. Once you have started the process it is very hard to stop it. It is actually a better idea and use of your energy to redirect the events coming than to try to stop it. (Especially if you see that the results will be less than desirable)

Now, there is indeed; levels of power. This is nothing but practice. Just as a great pianist became so through practice, so it is with magick use. Some are naturals, and the work is easy. Some have to develop the skill as they suppressed it (or had it suppressed) when they were young. Just like great chefs, a grilled cheese sandwich is still a grilled cheese sandwich. For some reason this very same sandwich will taste different if produced by a master chef, than it will by an eight year old learning for the first time. The only difference is practice, the result is the same but different…

This is why you should always start with small tasks. A novice should never try to create a master piece until they understand the basics. Regardless of the field of endeavor; a novice must learn the basics before attempting the advanced.
A novice electrician asking to work on live power lines would be told a resounding no. The novice may not understand the reason and still try, causing a seriously bad result. The level of disaster will be determined by the novice depending on his/her amplitude. (From mild shock, to total city black out, to even death) So it is with learning and controlling the forces of the universe, i.e. using magick.

So even though we all understand that a beginner should start at the beginning, why do the beginners try to start at the master level? Why do novices who can’t even light a candle, try to cast a fireball? Why do those who can’t even call the wind try to influence world events?

This is where my frustration is causing me a bit of serious consternation. Should I only ever teach the beginner stuff? Should I play it safe and never reveal any actual power, only concepts? How can I avoid the misuse of all this by people who are not willing to learn the steps in the right order?

Well, thank you for reading; I will ponder my own questions. Maybe I will come up with an answer.

How You Can Get Anything You Want in Life

Let's keep this simple: What do you want?

Ask yourself these questions; what exactly is it? Narrow it down to a specific thing. Then ask yourself: Why? Do you want this for the greater good, or for less noble reasons? Then ask yourself; for what reason must you have this?

Whatever the reason, it is probably so that you can feel good, so you can feel free, or experience satisfaction of some kind. It is to enjoy your self one way or the other. To sum it all up in one word: Happiness.

If you are not feeling happy then you want something. You want this thing so you can be happy. When you are unhappy you are not comfortable, and this discomfort brings about a desire for a solution. This solution to be happy often times involves having something. Therein lies the dilemma; if you get it will you stay happy? You need to examine yourself and make sure that this thing you want will make and keep you happy. The old fairy tale ending of happily ever after can be realized if you do this correctly. Do it wrong and instead of happiness you will get serious repercussions.

So how do you get whatever it is that you want in your life? Here is the formula for all creation of your reality. Keep it simple and uncomplicated. If you complicate it, it gets complicated to that degree. If you keep it as simple as it is, it becomes a miracle, profoundly powerful, a sign of mastery.

Ask and receive…

You probably just fell out of your chair at the simplicity of this. If not read that little sentence again.

So you now wonder; who do you ask? Your higher power is yours to determine. No other person in this universe can even begin to tell you who your god is or isn’t. Your relationship is yours, and yours alone, you can not share this relationship, it is your gift to use or neglect as you see fit.

So now the big question; “How do you ask?”

The asking is simple state your desire and how you feel about it. Say it out loud, write it down, you must simply bring it outside of yourself…

A warning is in order here: Be very careful what you ask for, as you will receive it! What you get may not be what you wanted after all, so think it through.
Also, forget about what you don't want. Here is why: whatever you are putting your attention on is what is being asked for. Where your attention is indicates what it is you are asking. How it is that you are feeling indicates what it is that you are asking.

How does your higher power know what you want? From what you think and talk about the most. So what you expend your energy into talking and thinking about is what you will get.

An example is in order; if you desire a new car, but only think and worry, and talk about the old beater that you have, then the higher power will grant your requests for an old beater. You will get a different (thus new) beater.

So to sum up; ask and receive. Bring the desire outside of you and let your higher power know. Ask only for what you really desire, and make sure it is for happiness and joy.

Hypocracy

Why do people hate magic? I run into people every day who try some sort of magick in their lives. They make wishes; throw salt over their shoulder, turn their chair, and so on. They think these are harmless things, but they all have their roots in old magick. Then when you talk to them about using magick they get all righteous and condemning...

Why do they do that? On the one hand they use magick for their personal use (like you’re supposed to) then on the other hand when someone else professes a belief in it they get angry and want to burn you at the stake.

The answer is in education. Many people have been exposed to magick uses their whole life, and it is ok. They learn about the little things, lets focus on luck. They use things like lucky charms, make wishes on pennies, don’t break mirrors, and many similar things. All these are direct decedents of magick use. They are normal every day stuff.

Somewhere in their upbringing, they were mind controlled and someone taught them that magick use is bad, and magick users are bad people. This causes an internal conflict with many people but they do realize it.

Magick is a fact of life, it exists whether you choose to believe it or not. There are forces that affect you every day, all the time, and even if you are not aware of them or think they are a fable, they still exist and still affect how you do things.

Just because you use magick in your life does not make you a bad person, but admitting that you believe and use it consciously makes many people go into some rabid discourse about burning you at the stake. Such a conundrum...

So what to do about it? First a short history lesson; There are three "major" religions in the world and a lot of minor ones. The three majors are Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Both Islam and Christianity sprang from Judaism. Now the Jews have a subculture called Kabballah, and this delves into magick use. So why do the other two majors disdain magick so much? You can read the entire Old Testament and not find a single reference to magick users being executed. You can find a few references that they existed even back then but nothing about any form of execution.

Doing a little more research reveals that it was the pope who issued a thing called a "Bull" that started this whole kill the witch thing. The inquisition started out to eradicate any competition to their religion. It included anyone who did not believe according to the church. One of the most popular religions was a form of nature worship. If the people who worshiped the sun did not convert and worship the son, they were branded a heretic or witch and executed. The inquisition went on for over 300 years, eventually turning into a political weapon that was used to "purge" cities and towns of less than desirable citizens, but got carried away and ended up getting about a third or more of the population killed and ruining the economy of the area. It is believed that over 5 million people were killed by witch hunters and inquisitors, the number may be closer to double that as the record keeping was not very accurate back then, especially if you had no property to be seized by the church, you would not even get listed as one of those executed, what a waste of human life...

The most painful book I have ever read was about the witch hunts in France and Germany. Where a witch hunter would come to town and start the whole process but finding some poor beggar woman that nobody liked. She would be accused of witchcraft and condemned without fair trial or representation. The accused faced something along the lines of this: You are accused of witchcraft either admit you are a witch or be executed. If they admitted they were a witch then of course they were executed anyway. The accused were not allowed a defense of any kind, to be accused meant a death sentence. Now here is where it gets real ugly; the accused was tortured and forced to name other people who were their cohorts in witchcraft. Even if the person was not an actual witch they were still tortured and forced to name others. Then those people were arrested and condemned and tortured to name others and so on. In one German town at the peak of the hunt, over 800 women were burned at the stake in one week... When the men came home from war they found that their town had no women. Their wives, mothers, sisters and daughters had all been executed as witches. In a five month time frame this one inquisitor had killed over 9000 people, from one town. The inquisitor left town the day before the soldiers returned, but not before making sure all the property deeds were in order so that the church now owned most of the province. This was repeated all over Europe. It even came to America but before Salem could be depopulated the governor called a halt to it. At the time of the stay, there were over 300 people in jail for being witches. For another painful book read the Crucible. (Watching the movie is just as painful)

So what people did was teach their young to immediately accuse others of witchcraft so that they would not be accused themselves. While at the same time teaching them to about minor magick like luck without actually calling it magick.

This inquisitorial fear still affects us today. People are so afraid of unfair, instant execution and torture that as soon as you mention magick they go off on a huge tirade in defense of themselves. By condemning you they hope to keep themselves clean of the chance of accusation. This is so ingrained into our society that I am surprised some sociologist hasn't named a psycho-disorder after it.

What can we do to clear this away? Education. Learning the truth of the matter. Do some research of your own and discover just how wrong the papal bull was. See for yourself that the whole concept was cruel and inhumane. You will probably need therapy after reading some of those books about the witch hunts. It was actually worse than the holocaust. In some cases it is so painful to read how even young children were burned at he stake or hung because someone accused them of witchcraft.

There will be more on this subject so stay tuned

7 Steps to Intuition

Intuition; a Power or a Skill?
Have you ever had an experience when all of a sudden you just had this huge hunch that something is about to happen, and to your surprise, it did. Have you ever had a feeling you should not do something, like get on a plane, or go down a certain road? Then later you found out there was a really bad accident that you may have been in if you had not listened to your feeling and went a different way. These experiences are the beginning of intuition.

Some people call intuition their guardian angel. They believe that it is their angel that gives them these hunches and warnings. Others call it their magic ability, they believe that this is a power that they have earned or developed through various rights. While yet others have had it their whole lives, and considerate nothing more special than being able to use a telephone. Both way it is a skill, and a gift that all people have.

When you feel strongly about something without any logical basis to it; that is called intuition. It comes in three levels: clairvoyance, premonition, and empathy.

Clairvoyance or "the third eye” is when your eye goes beyond what it can see. This is when you know what is happening somewhere else. When you know you child needs help, or your sister is sick, and they are in another state or country.

Premonition is sensing clearly or basically what we refer to as "hunch" or "gut feeling." This is the time when you are overwhelmed with a feeling and you can't explain it and all you can say is "I just know." It can be as simple as knowing when food is done without using a timer, to avoiding danger.

Empathy on the other hand, is being able to "listen" between the lines. To feel what others are trying to express. When someone is full of emotions and just can’t put it is words, you also feel it and can share the happiness, or ease the grief, and all the emotions in between.

They say only a number of people are gifted with intuition. Astrologers even insist that people born under the Scorpio or Pisces signs are naturally intuitive it almost borders on E.S.P. But studies have been sprouting left and right that proclaim that anyone can develop intuition.

Why do we need to develop intuition, you ask? Why not let your emotional and psychological state be as it is? First and foremost, intuition promotes good communication. It makes you more sensitive to the people around you; it often keeps you from hurting those you love because you are intuitive enough to understand them. Intuition also makes you far more creative than ever. Intuition means releasing more creative juices for any means of expression. Intuition can assist you is making good choices, and decisions. It will keep you from doing the wrong thing once you learn to trust it. Lastly, intuition has a healing power. This healing power is not in the physical sense, but in delving deep into your soul to eradicate some negative energy buried in it.

With that being said, are you ready to develop your intuition? Here are some ways to unlock this gift:
1. Hypnosis:
Oh yes, you can get yourself hypnotized. However hypnosis is not the old watching a pendulum move back and forth. With all the recent discoveries it is easier and more effective than previously thought. You can and do hypnotize yourself, so learn a little about it and do it your self. Perform self-hypnosis or you can avail yourself of some of the hypnotic programs out there that can strengthen your intuition.

2. Meditation
Meditating means finding peace inside yourself. If your mind and heart are cluttered with too much baggage and hurt, then you wouldn't be able to quiet down that part of you that could eventually initiate intuition. There are many different styles and teachings of meditation, that this would become a book instead of an article. Basically it is centering yourself, calming your mind and connecting with source. (God, universe, etc.) There are so many ways to meditate: take a yoga class, or just simply practice some breathing that could bring you straight to Zen.

3. Think positive!
A worry-free, fear-free state could do so much to improve your intuitive ability. By staying positive, you attract good energy that would be able to easily recognize imminent feelings and events. This is the opposite of thinking negative thoughts. When you catch yourself being negative, stop and think positive.

4. Just let go.
What does this mean? If you are on the brink of making a huge decision, let go of all the inhibitions and head to a quiet place where you could find out where the letting go has brought you. Sometimes you just have to listen to the voice within you, and that voice wouldn't come out unless you let go. This is also where a little meditation never hurts.

5. Never expect.
After letting go of the inhibitions and all those things that stop you from thinking and feeling clearly, never expect for an answer right away. Never expect that the "hunch" would fall in to your lap immediately. Give it a little time, then you'd just be surprised -- wham! -- Now you have your answer. Sleep on it is always a good idea, most of the time you wake up with a solution or answer.

6. Believe in your first impressions.
When you see someone for the first time and think that he is a bit too arrogant for your taste, chances are that impression actually holds true. Do not be judgmental, maybe the person is putting on an act for a certain crowd, so do a little investigation, most of the time though you will be right. First impressions are brought on by intuition.

7. Stay happy!
This is the best way of all. See? All you need to be intuitive is to stay happy! Happiness attracts immense power and such power includes intuition. In tapping your intuition, your motivation must be happiness and contentment. Avoid anger and just choose to be happy. Given that premise, intuition will fall to you easily. You have it inside you now, being happy will let you use it without years of formal training.

So as you can see, Intuition is helpful, because it leads you to something that cannot be achieved otherwise. A lot of lives have been saved or changed by intuition. Decisions are easier done if armed by this gift. Develop intuition now and reap benefits you have never imagined.

Be Happy Whenever You Want to Be

We all desire to be happy and at peace. Too often we believe that if some event happens, then we’ll be happy or at peace. We base our future happiness on things and conditions. For example we say to ourselves “I will be happy when the kids move out” or I will be happy when I win the lottery” and other similar conditions. The problem is that as soon as you gain what you seek, you soon become disappointed, disillusioned and dissatisfied again. You probably won’t even know why. It’s because you have attached conditions to your happiness and peace.

Thoughts are things, and your thoughts cause your actions that in turn result in what you are. No one and nothing can make you happy or at peace. You do not receive happiness and peacefulness from someone or something else.

Happiness and peace come from inside. You are responsible for yourself. You must make the blatant choice to be happy. You either are, or you’re not. You decide to be happy, and you decide to be at peace.

There are situations that arise from time to time that will test our resolve to be happy. Cars won’t run, children misbehave, co-workers don’t do their jobs, and so on. If you have made the choice to be happy you do not have to react with anger or other non-happy emotions to outside situations. You are in control of yourself, so you decide on how you feel.

There was a game I played with my kids when they were younger, we called each other names. The rules were simple you could not repeat a name that anyone else had said. So I would start out and say “Well, you’re a fence”, and then my son would reply “Oh yea, you are a window”, and my daughter would go “Oh yea, you are a cheeseburger” and so on. We called each other everything from ants to zebras and anchovie to zesty pepperoni. Nobody got their feelings hurt because we knew we were not really a sidewalk, or a French fry.

This training came in handy later in life. When my kids got to middle school it seems that other kids just get mean at that age. So they tried to call my kids names. They would come home from school and be all dejected and feeling sad. We would talk, and I would remind them that name calling is just a game, that the words can not hurt them unless they allowed it. I would point out that their feelings didn’t get hurt when we called each other a pickle or olive. Then I would ask them why. Of course they couldn’t figure it out so I had to tell them that because they knew it wasn’t true, so it had no effect. So what is the difference between being called a coffee pot and being called a dork? Nothing, if it isn’t true it can not hurt you. So my kids learned to not let name calling bother them, that it is yourself that decides how to react to outside influence.

So it is for you; you are the one who decides what you will do when faced with any given situation. Other people or things can not make you happy. Conversely they can not make you sad either. It is the choice you make as to how you react to it. You decide if it hurts your feelings, or it has no effect on your emotions at all... You can choose to be happy, you can choose to be at peace.

Once you determine that you are happy and at peace, you act in happiness and peace. When a negative situation presents itself, just remind yourself that you are happy and at peace. Allow yourself a moment to mentally step back from the situation and find a positive reaction.

3 Steps to Overcome Your Fear Success

The foundation and point of origin of success is when one decides exactly what he/she really and truly wants, in all aspects of their life. When a person discovers their life’s purpose, and begins to act on it; the world becomes a different place.

Everyone has that earnest desire to succeed. Your ability to establish and accomplish goals will mold your happiness and success over and above any other skill you can ever think of. In other words; you can not hit the target when you can not see it.

Just wishing for something is so much different from being able and prepared to accept it. Nobody is ever prepared to accept anything until they truly believe that they can obtain it. The mind must first be in a state of believing, and not just hoping or wishing for something. An open mind is important, as a closed mind never inspires courage, faith or the power to believe.

If every individual has that yearning for success, and if success is equally possible to everybody, why then is it, that only a few succeed? It is because only a few believe in their potential. Of those individuals, they started by defining and acknowledging a goal. By writing it down and truly believing in their spirit and minds that they could achieve that goal.

Almost everyone has gone through difficult life encounters and experiences. These experiences and encounters usually define one’s existence, becoming important milestones on your life's course. However, the enemy, (which is that negative force within) often would recognize these difficult experiences as evidence that your not “good enough” in order to succeed. Simply put, this is fear from within.

As the mind dictates your fear, it also dictates your thoughts and your actions: Fear, according to psychologists is normal and a natural line of attack focused to life's adjustments and changes. Fear is what prevents one from doing “crazy or stupid things”; but it may be carried to a great extent. When one fears nothing, one can be considered as “mad” and “foolish” but on the other hand, fear of almost everything, especially fear to take simple actions, causes people to be considered as plain cowards. The enemy inside of you will tell you that your fear is reasonable when in fact it is only transitory.

For example; when you believe in your mind that relationships are complicated and demand too much effort, you will indeed attract those individuals who will cause difficulty in the relationship and or demand a lot of effort from you. More significantly, when you worry regarding something that you essentially believe will have negative outcomes, then that is what the result to your actions will be.

Of course, it does not occur every time that you think and believe negatively. Although there is worry and apprehension inside you, there is still, in that little corner of your heart, of your mind: Hope. With this small spark of hope, you hope for a positive result, and that power prevents disaster from happening. Yet worrying constantly, without any hope, then disaster is sure to come!

However there is so much more to faith and believing than simply creating beliefs. Possessing “optimism” in the mind is the initial step towards making a positive outlook, resulting in a successful life.

Take note here: Believing, is something entirely different than optimism. For instance you have “positive thoughts” with regards to money; at the same time, you are optimistic that many ways are offered in order to acquire money. Yet if, for any reason you do not believe you will be able to make money, then you will not make the amount of money that you desire.

So how do you get through the fear? By developing how you believe!

Step 1. Identify your fear, and then create a correct belief. Your belief should be superior to your fear. It will entail a bit of effort. Observe and listen inside of you, look around and see what is functioning well in your life. Small or great, proclaim your successes. Realize that you have created a success. Talk about things that went well, and about plans for things to come. Believe that you can reach great things, and right now; begin counting your blessings.

Step 2. Only believe in you, in the things that you can do, and not in the circumstances. You have to believe in only yourself. There will be times when you will be tempted to put your belief into something else. Help is good but do not become dependant on them. Please note that people and circumstances change; if you put your hope in someone else they may suddenly leave, then where will you be? Your success can be created by only you, and you alone know the definition of success, and only you decide whether to change it or not.

Step 3. Realize that success will take some time. It has taken a long time to get your life the way it is now, so it will take some more time to get your life where you want it. Write down your goals; fill a whole book if you can. Read your goals every day. Keep this in mind; if ever you do fail, think of it not as failure but as a lesson on how not to do it. Then find another way to get things done. Failure is not final; take it as an opportunity to learn and reassess your beliefs and your goals.

The power of belief is strong and affects our decisions, feelings, and actions. Although you have been depending on a specific set of beliefs regarding your life up to this point, those particular beliefs can be adjusted or changed.

Seek the truth, your truth, for that is the path of freedom. You can change your future, so start changing it now!

The Energy of Thought

We all have thoughts, but we don’t all achieve our dreams. That’s because thoughts may be negative or positive in nature. Even thoughts you believe are positive may, in truth, be negative to achievement. For example, your dream is to own a new car. So the thought you constantly hold is, “I want to buy a new car.” This sounds like a positive thought, but it’s actually keeping you from getting your new car. The universe (whom some call God) listens to your thoughts and gives you what you are thinking. So, the phrase “I want” keeps you wanting, rather than actually buying it. So, you continue to want to buy it and never achieve your goal.

Thought, just like an action, is energy in motion. Emotional thoughts carry even more energy. When you create a thought, especially one you feel emotional about (such as your dream of success), you have created energy that goes out to the universe and allows you to explore, create and grow the thought. The process will actually take care of itself, and this is where most of us mess up. We try to force things and make it happen right away. We are greedy little gits, and so we want it now. If we simply wait a little while we will get our desire and usually something better. The saying “good things come to those who wait” is so very painfully true.

An example is in order here, perhaps you have even done this. Let us say that we desired a new car. So we stated that we were going to get a new car, we looked at brochures, wandered car lots looking around, and then because we were not willing to wait a few weeks we hurried up and bought the one we had to have right now. Then about a month later we see or find out about a car that was exactly what we were looking for. Only it has better equipment, a lower price and is even a better shade of the color we wanted.

Focus is another problem in how thoughts are formulated in our thoughts. Your thoughts become energy. If your thoughts are negative, the energy is negative; if positive, then the energy is positive. When emotions become involved with the thoughts, the energy is even stronger. The energy, however, doesn’t remain dormant — it expands. It expands each time you think your thought. However if one minute you are thinking “I will get my new car” and the next minute you think “well maybe not” you have sent conflicting energy, and one cancels the other so that nothing happens. You have to consciously choose what your goal is and then stick to it. Switching from one to another will either cancel your goals or cause them to manifest as something you do not desire.

Let’s look at some elements of thinking that hold us back from consciously moving toward success.

Energy Expands
As energy builds and gains strength, it begins to attract like energy. Like a magnet, the energy attracts other like matter to it. Since the energy is inside you, it attracts the like matter to you.

If your thoughts lean toward the negative, then you are attracting negative matter; dead end jobs, horrible bosses, bad relationships, etc. You end up never achieving that which you most want, instead you receive constant struggle, conflicts, built up anger, and so on.

On the other hand, if your thoughts are positive, you attract positive outcomes and situations. You have a job you love, a great boss or even you are your own boss, great relationships with lots of friends, and so on.

As you can see, negative thoughts and energy weaken you and your ability to achieve. Positive thoughts and energy empower you. Whatever you think, you attract back to you in greater degrees. Literally, your thoughts do create your reality. Evidence is all around you. Are your thoughts negative or positive? Do negative or positive situations, events and people surround you?

Beyond Thoughts. Thoughts become actions. If your thoughts and the energy attached to them are negative, what type of speech and actions will you put forth? Negative! What is inside you (thoughts) is how you respond to life. If your thoughts are negative, then your speech and actions will be negative, too. If you think you are thinking positive, but your actions are negative, then you need to re-examine what you are thinking. Your actions will mirror your thoughts.

To prove that thoughts are energy I will give you this example: Laughter. When a person becomes overly happy they will laugh. When someone is laughing it is contagious, it puts out so much energy that all those who can hear the laughter will also begin to feel good, smile, and even begin to laugh themselves. The other people will not know what they are laughing about but will laugh nonetheless. Especially contagious is when a small child laughs, even super sour grumpy people will smile.

So if your thoughts are positive, then so is your speech and actions, which also add to the building and attracting of like energy. So do not just think about thinking positive, instead; be positive.

The Way to Wellness

How many times have you gone to sleep at night, swearing you'll go to the gym in the morning, and then changing your mind just eight hours later because when you get up, you don't feel like exercising?

While this can happen to the best of us, it doesn't mean you should drop the ball altogether when it comes to staying fit. What people need to realize is that staying active and eating right are critical for long-term health and wellness and that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The more you know about how your body responds to your lifestyle choices, the better you can customize a nutrition and exercise plan that is right for you.

When you eat well, increase your level of physical activity, and exercise at the proper intensity, you are informing your body that you want to burn a substantial amount of fuel. This translates to burning fat more efficiently for energy.

In other words, proper eating habits plus exercise equals fast metabolism, which, in turn gives you more energy throughout the day and allows you to do more physical work with less effort.

The true purpose of exercise is to send a repetitive message to the body asking for improvement in metabolism, strength, aerobic capacity and overall fitness and health. Each time you exercise, your body responds by upgrading its capabilities to burn fat throughout the day and night, Exercise doesn't have to be intense to work for you, but it does need to be consistent.

I recommend engaging in regular cardiovascular exercise four times per week for 20 to 30 minutes per session, and resistance training four times per week for 20 to 25 minutes per session. This balanced approach provides a one-two punch, incorporating aerobic exercise to burn fat and deliver more oxygen, and resistance training to increase lean body mass and burn more calories around the block.

Remember if you are in really bad shape or questionable level of fitness; start slow. Walk that first mile, when you can do that without having a heart attack, then try jogging that mile. When you can do that, then run that mile. Then when you can do that increase one mile at a time until you get to where you want to be.

Always check with your doctor first to make sure you don't have a condition that will prevent you from doing types of exercise. You might have bad knees so you may have to bike instead of run.

Here's a sample exercise program that may work for you:
Warm Up -- seven to eight minutes of light aerobic activity intended to increase blood flow and lubricate and warm-up your tendons and joints.

Resistance Training -- Train all major muscle groups. One to two sets of each exercise. Rest between sets.

Aerobic Exercise -- Pick two favorite activities, they could be jogging, rowing, biking or cross-country skiing, whatever fits your lifestyle. Perform 12 to 15 minutes of the first activity and continue with 10 minutes of the second activity. Cool down during the last five minutes.

Stretching -- Wrap up your exercise session by stretching, breathing deeply, relaxing and meditating.
When starting an exercise program, it is important to have realistic expectations. Depending on your initial fitness level, you should expect the following changes early on.

From one to eight weeks -- Feel better and have more energy.

From two to six months -- Lose size and inches while becoming leaner. Clothes begin to fit more loosely. You are gaining muscle and losing fat.

After six months -- Start losing weight quite rapidly.

Once you make the commitment to exercise several times a week, don't stop there. You should also change your diet and/or eating habits. Counting calories or calculating grams and percentages for certain nutrients is impractical. Instead, I suggest these easy-to-follow guidelines:

Eat several small meals (optimally four) and a couple of small snacks throughout the day.

Make sure every meal is balanced incorporate palm-sized proteins like lean meats, fish, egg whites and dairy products, fist-sized portions of complex carbohydrates like whole-wheat bread and pasta, wild rice, multigrain cereal and potatoes, and fist-sized portions of vegetable and fruits.

Limit your fat intake to only what's necessary for adequate flavor.

Drink at least eight 8-oz. glasses of water throughout the day.

I also recommend that you take a multi-vitamin each day to ensure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

I suppose that's all I can think of for now. Enjoy life, you deserve it.
